Healthcare shares fall

Among the components of the S&P BSE Healthcare index, Ipca Laboratories Ltd (down 8.31%), Aster DM Healthcare Ltd (down 8.28%),Divis Laboratories Ltd (down 6.15%),Lasa Supergenerics Ltd (down 4.86%),Shilpa Medicare Ltd (down 3.32%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd (down 3.26%), Fermenta Biotech Ltd (down 3.06%), NGL Fine Chem Ltd (down 2.57%), Max Healthcare Institute Ltd (down 2.35%), and Gujarat Themis Biosyn Ltd (down 1.88%). On the other hand, Fortis Healthcare Ltd (up 6.23%), Solara Active Pharma Sciences Ltd (up 5.46%), and Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd (up 3.55%) moved up.At 13:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 166.6 or 0.28% at 59499.2.The Nifty 50 index was up 56.5 points or 0.32% at 17715.5.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 153.35 points or 0.55% at 27951.37.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 54.69 points or 0.63% at 8804.42.On BSE,1885 shares were trading in green, 1414 were trading in red and 168 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
