HealthKart, a consumer nutrition platform, raised $135 million in a Series H funding round led by Temasek on December 5. The company said Mumbai-based A91 Partners and Kae Capital also participated in the fundraising round.
The company will use the funds to grow its in-house D2C (direct-to-consumer) business, increase offline distribution, expand international operations and make selected acquisitions.
The company was founded in 2011 by Prashant Tandon and Sameer Maheshwari, which is currently backed by the Tata Group.
The company’s last valuation after its fundraising in May 2019 was around Rs 1,109.80 crore, according to information obtained through startup data tracker Tracxn. After the deal with Temasek, HealthKart’s valuation has reached Rs 3,000 crore.
