Hero Motocorp initiates delivery of electric scooter VIDA V1 in Jaipur

Hero MotoCorp announced on Sunday that deliveries of its electric scooter VIDA V1 have begun in Jaipur, with plans to launch the brand in many other locations this year. The model had previously begun deliveries in Bengaluru by the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer.

The company’s goal is to spread clean mobility by providing a seamless and hassle-free customer experience via an omnichannel approach, said a senior official of the company.

VIDA currently has experience centres in Bengaluru and Jaipur, as well as pop-up stores in Delhi and the National Capital Region, where customers can test drive VIDA V1.

The company is expected to start delivery in Delhi soon.

Hero MotoCorp released the VIDA V1 in two variants, Pro and Plus, in October of last year. The VIDA V1 competes with devices such as the OLA S1 Pro, Ather 450X, and TVS iQube.

At around 10.06 AM, Hero Motocorp was trading 1.80% higher at Rs2,795.75 per piece, against the previous close of Rs2,746.45 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of Rs2,812 and Rs2,750.05 respectively.
