The two companies have entered this strategic alliance for developing, manufacturing, and supplying next-generation technologies within the first National Center for Quantum Material Technology (NCQMT), which was initiated at C-MET, Pune, and funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The direct link between HHV’s design, in-house vacuum equipment manufacture, process development, and C-MET Pune scientific knowledge enables both companies to swiftly optimise product designs through rapid design, simulation cycles, and system development with built-in specialised processes.
“C-MET is a materials technology pioneer that collaborates with industry to develop ecosystems. The NCQMT partnership with HHV will get materials technology closer to commercialisation. In the near future, the alliance will have mutual cooperation in all sectors of materials technology for vibrant applications,” stated Bharath Kale, Director General of C-MET.
Microwave Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition, Thermal Low-Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition, Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition, and Inductively Coupled Plasma – Reactive Ion Etching are the tools envisaged for this development.
Quantum Materials are defined as materials with high electronic correlations, and electronic ordering, such as superconducting states, magnetic ordering, topological phenomena, and unusual band dispersion.
