In order to grow its staff and reinforce its position as the market leader, real estate website Housing.com will add roughly 200 new employees this fiscal year.
Three real estate portals, Housing.com, PropTiger, and Makaan.com, are owned by REA India, a subsidiary of the Australian REA Group and the US-based News Corp.
About 80% of the total revenue came from Housing.com, one of India’s top real estate classified websites, and the remaining 20% came from the real estate brokerage website PropTiger.com. The revenue of Makaan.com was insignificant.
