Hudle gets $1 million in funding

Sports app company, Hudle has raised $1 million in Series A funding. Inflection Point Ventures, India Angel Network and Survam Partners have provided this funding. Series A funding means initial round of funding.

Hudle’s app can be used by users for booking sports venues for playing the sport  that they want to play. They can also book tickets to sporting events through the app. The company earns revenues from the subscription fee that users pay for using its app. The company is targeting customers who want to stay fit and have a healthy lifestyle by playing the sport of their choice. The company aims to exploit on the general lack of sporting avenues and facilities in the country by informing users the options that they have in their vicinity and giving them the ability to easily book these venues. Proceeds from the funding will be used by Hudle for expanding into new markets and for strengthening its technology and marketing.
