ICRA appoints Amit Kumar as Chief Financial Officer

said in the regulatory filing on Tuesday that the company has approved the appointment of Mr. Amit Kumar Gupta as a Chief Financial Officer for an interim period, effective from March 10, 2022.

ICRA’s existing Group Chief Financial Officer of ICRA Limited, Mr. Vipul Agarwal has decided to pursue external career opportunities. Mr. Gupta is a law graduate and a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, the company said.

Mr. Gupta will continue to hold his current key managerial position of General Counsel of the Company, with the responsibility of legal, compliance, government and public affairs, and ICRA’s CSR activities.

Mr. Gupta joined ICRA in 2015. Mr. Gupta had held a position of Whole-time Director of ICRA from February 2020 to February 2021. He has over 21 years of diverse industry experience mostly in insurance and financial services. Prior to joining lCRA, Mr. Gupta worked at Ameriprise Financials, Aviva Life Insurance, Sanlam Investment and Bajaj Allianz managing various responsibilities in the similar domain.

ICRA Limited is an Indian independent and professional investment information and credit rating agency. It was established in 1991, and was originally named Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency of India Limited.

ICRA Ltd is currently trading at Rs3,632.20 up by Rs172 or 4.97% from its previous closing of Rs3,460.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs3,447.10 and has touched a intraday high and low of Rs3,733.05 and Rs3,447.10 respectively.
