Indian equity markets ended the day in red today. Nifty 50 ended, down by 36.95 points. Sensex ended, down by 123.52 points. Top Gainers today were Tata Motors, UPL, Cipla. Top Losers today were Adani Enterprises, HCL Tech, Hindalco.
Selling pressure was seen in many large- cap stocks. Buying demand was seen in some small-cap and mid-cap stocks. Selling pressure was seen in metals and oil & gas stocks. Realty stocks, that saw selling pressure yesterday, saw buying demand today.
Zomato, Yes Bank, and Suzlon were the most traded stocks today at NSE, in terms of volume. Paytm, Adani Enterprises and Reliance were the most traded stocks today, in terms of value. Adani Enterprises’ stock again saw selling pressure today. 36 stocks touched new 52- week high today at NSE. 75 stocks touched new 52-week low.
