Indian Markets May Open Negative Amid Global Cues

Indian markets may start negative on September 6 amid global markets’ cues. The GIFT Nifty was also trading lower by 80 points at 25,143.50 around 7 AM.

On September 5, the benchmark indices closed negative following the global market trends. The Sensex was down 0.25% and closed at 82,352.64 while Nifty closed at 25,198.7, 0.32% down.

Global Markets

The S&P 500 and Dow closed lower in volatile trading on Thursday after a brief lift from several economic reports faded. However, the Nasdaq ended slightly higher as the investors waiting for key jobs data set to release on Friday.

All the major Asian markets are also trading lower on Friday morning.

FII & DII Data:

The FII turned net sellers on Thursday market session where they sold equities worth ₹688 crore while DII bought equities worth ₹2970 crore yesterday.
