Indices ends higher on September 10

Stock market ended in green on September 10. The Nifty closed above 25,000, 104.70 points up at 25,041.10 while Sensex rose 361.75 points closing at 81,921.29. Around 2473 shares closed advanced, 1300 declined and 98 remains unchanged.

Top gainers on Nifty were Divis Labs, LTIMindtree, Bharti Airtel, Wipro and Tech Mahindra while, HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, and Shriram Finance were among the top losers.

Other than oil & gas, all other sectors end positive. Telecom and media sector were up by 2% each, however, capital goods, IT, healthcare, power were up 1% each.

The broader market indices, BSE Midcap and Smallcap also closed positive with 0.5% and 1.5% respectively.
