Indices may open on strong note on Nov 25, 2024

Indian benchmark indices are likely to open higher on November 25, 2024. The GIFTY Nifty was trading around 250 points higher today morning at 24,312.

On November 22, the Indian markets witnessed significant gains. Benchmark indices recorded their biggest single-day surge in over five months. The Sensex jumped 1,961.32 points (2.54%) to close at 79,117.11.  Meanwhile the Nifty climbed 557.40 points (2.39%) to settle at 23,907.30.

Asian markets also traded higher this morning as investors geared up for key economic data this week. This includes Korea’s central bank rate decision and India’s Q3 GDP figures.

Wall Street ended Friday on a positive note. The Dow Jones added 426.16 points (0.97%) to 44,296.51, and the S&P 500 rose 20.63 points (0.35%) to 5,969.34. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite gained 31.23 points (0.16%) to 19,003.65.
