Information Technology stocks slide

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, RPSG Ventures Ltd (down 2.8%), Subex Ltd (down 2.26%),Nazara Technologies Ltd (down 2.21%),Matrimony.com Ltd (down 2.2%),Nucleus Software Exports Ltd (down 1.96%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Allsec Technologies Ltd (down 1.77%), Datamatics Global Services Ltd (down 1.72%), Mindtree Ltd (down 1.69%), Coforge Ltd (down 1.61%), and Indiamart Intermesh Ltd (down 1.57%). On the other hand, Newgen Software Technologies Ltd (up 13.7%), Tata Elxsi Ltd (up 5.4%), and Sasken Technologies Ltd (up 4.36%) turned up.At 13:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 166.6 or 0.28% at 59499.2.The Nifty 50 index was up 56.5 points or 0.32% at 17715.5.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 153.35 points or 0.55% at 27951.37.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 54.69 points or 0.63% at 8804.42.On BSE,1885 shares were trading in green, 1414 were trading in red and 168 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
