Information Technology stocks slide

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Zensar Technologies Ltd (down 7.58%), Brightcom Group Ltd (down 4.95%),Subex Ltd (down 4.33%),Aptech Ltd (down 4.1%),Aurionpro Solutions Ltd (down 3.91%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Rategain Travel Technologies Ltd (down 3.55%), Tanla Platforms Ltd (down 3.52%), Infibeam Avenues Ltd (down 2.42%), Firstsource Solutions Ltd (down 1.52%), and Nazara Technologies Ltd (down 1.42%). On the other hand, Newgen Software Technologies Ltd (up 4.06%), Allsec Technologies Ltd (up 3.01%), and Cigniti Technologies Ltd (up 2.93%) turned up.At 13:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 492.65 or 0.84% at 58880.58.The Nifty 50 index was up 138.95 points or 0.8% at 17536.45.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 118.01 points or 0.43% at 27723.09.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 30.04 points or 0.35% at 8684.94.On BSE,1937 shares were trading in green, 1455 were trading in red and 181 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
