Instanex FII Index down 0.48% at close

At close, the Instanex FII Index was down 0.48% at 350.84 (-0.33% at 3 pm) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was down 0.33% (-0.18% at 3 pm). Nifty was down 0.55% (-0.72% at 3 pm) and Sensex was down 0.53% (-0.60% at 3 pm). The other Instanex Owner Indexes were also down — the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was down 0.15% (+0.02% at 3 pm), the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was down 0.08% (+0.06% at 3 pm) and the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was down 0.07% (+0.10% at 3 pm). Asian markets were down as well — Nikkei 225 was down 2.64%, Jakarta Composite was down 0.98% and SET Composite was down 0.96%.

Of the 20 components of the Instanex FII Index, 12 were down and eight were up. The main losers were ICICI Bank (-2.50%; weight 8.63%), TCS (-2.06%; weight 3.29%) and Jindal Steel & Power (-2.03%; weight 2.91%) and the main gainers were Reliance (+1.21%; weight 14.09%) and ITC (+1.01%; weight 3.11%).
