According to news reports, Reliance Jio is in discussions with international carriers about providing their locally created end-to-end 5G stack. With a few international carriers, the business is currently having technical discussions about the stack that Jio Platforms has created.
The reports claimed that the Jio campus and other Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) locations are already successfully operating the 5G stack. Jio’s 5G network will be implemented using the 5G stack, which is a whole end-to-end solution.
The business doesn’t appear eager to collaborate on its 5G solution with the government-run BSNL.
Jio Platforms has created an entire end-to-end 5G solution that includes 5G radio, a full 5G core network, the deployment of cloud infrastructure, and platforms for cloud-native operation support systems (OSS).
By Diwali, Jio plans to roll out 5G services throughout the metropolises of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata. By the end of 2023, the business will have 5G coverage over the entire nation. Jio wants to deploy its 5G network in a standalone (SA) mode, in which all network elements, including cell sites, exclusively transmit 5G signals.
