July 27: NSE Puts Three Stocks Under F&O Ban

27 Jul 2023 , 10:28 AM

National Stock Exchange (NSE) has put three stocks under the ban for trade on July 27, 2023, in the futures and options (F&O) segment. The ban was imposed as these securities crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit (MWPL), according to NSE.

Delta Corp, RBL Bank, and Sun TV Network Limited are the three stocks on the F&O ban list. While these stocks are restricted in the F&O segment, they will remain available for trading in the cash market.

The NSE updates the list of securities under the F&O ban daily based on their market-wide position limit.

Any increase in open positions during the ban period will attract appropriate penal and disciplinary action. No fresh positions are allowed for F&O contracts in the specified stocks during the ban period.
