Kotak Nifty G-Sec July 2033 Index Fund NFO: Essential details to consider

Kotak Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “index fund category”, named as Kotak Nifty G-Sec July 2033 Index Fund. This open-ended fund seek to to generate returns that are commensurate (before fees and expenses) with the performance of the Nifty G-Sec July 2033 Index, subject to tracking errors.

Investment strategy: The Index Fund is a passively managed target maturity index fund which will employ an investment approach designed to track the performance of Nifty G-Sec July 2033 Index.

Asset allocation: The scheme will predominantly invest in relatively high interest rate risk and relatively low credit risk government securities.

Investors with moderate risk appetite and want to invest for 1 to 3 years to diversify the portfolio in government securities should invest in Kotak Nifty G-Sec July 2033 Index Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from September 25 to October 9. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 100/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
