L&T Tech, PTC extends partnership for digital manufacturing solutions

21 Mar 2024 , 05:46 PM

L&T Technology Services Limited, a prominent engineering services company in India, has recently announced an expansion of its collaboration with PTC. The purpose is to develop advanced solutions for the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.

The collaboration between L&T Technology Services and PTC will utilize PTC's Windchill application for product lifecycle management and product data management (PLM/PDM). The aim is to provide solutions specifically tailored to companies operating in the Aerospace & Defense sectors.

The implementation of Windchill will facilitate seamless integration with the existing architectures of potential customers and establish a robust basis for a product-oriented digital thread.

The suite of products is being developed to anticipate failures in aero engines and components, as well as provide engineering analytics. L&T Technology Services (LTTS) will contribute its domain expertise and expertise in developing Remaining Useful Life (RUL) prediction models, while leveraging PTC tools and platforms to deliver a comprehensive solution for customers.

LTTS has entered into a global partnership with PTC to deliver advanced Smart Digital Solutions and Services to their shared enterprise clients worldwide. The collaboration includes the establishment of an LTTS-PTC Center of Excellence (CoE), which serves as a platform to demonstrate and showcase Smart Digital Solution experiences.

During the upcoming International Paris Air Show, L&T Technology Services and PTC have planned to organize a special networking event. This event will bring together industry experts from various sectors to engage in discussions regarding the most recent technological advancements in the field of aeronautics.
