Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd said on Monday that it expects to deliver 20,000 units of its electric SUV XUV400, which was launched at an introductory price of Rs15.99 lakh in its first year on the market.
M&M, which unveiled the XUV400 in September of last year, stated that the vehicle would be available in two variants in 34 cities in phase I.
Bookings for the XUV400 will begin on January 26, 2023, with deliveries beginning in March 2023 for the ‘EL’ variant and during the Diwali festive season for the ‘EC’ variant, according to a company statement.
The EC model has a 34.5 kWh battery with a range of 375 km. It will be available with two chargers: 3.3 kW for Rs15.99 lakh and 7.2 kW for Rs16.49 lakh.
The EL trim, on the other hand, has a 39.4 kWh battery with a range of 456 km and is priced at Rs18.99 lakh, according to company’s statement.
The introductory prices are valid for the first 5,000 bookings of each variant — EC and EL, according to the company.
At around 11.38 AM, Mahindra & Mahindra was trading at Rs1,315.70 per piece, against the previous close of Rs1,315.65 on NSE.
