Mahindra & Mahindra reported 8% surge in its total sales to 58,801 units in February 2023, as compared to 54,455 units in the previous corresponding period.
The Mumbai-based automaker’s domestic passenger vehicle sales increased by 10% last month to 30,358 units, up from 27,663 in February last year, according to a statement.
Company’s commercial vehicle sales jumped to 26,193 units during the month as against 23,978 units in the previous comparable period.
M&M’s exports declined 20% to 2,250 units in February 2023 as compared to 2,814 units in February 2022.
The Thar RWD and XUV400 releases have garnered an extremely favorable reaction and our entire collection is experiencing strong demand. We are closely observing the semiconductor supply chain situation, which remains highly fluid, and taking necessary measures accordingly, said the company in its media release.
As per Automotive Division President Veejay Nakra the company continues to sell over 30,000 SUVs per month.
Following this development, Mahindra & Mahindra settled 0.41% higher at Rs1,274.80 apiece.
