Manipal HealthMap acquires Hyderabad-based Medics Pathlabs

Manipal HealthMap, the diagnostics division of Manipal Group, said on Wednesday that it has acquired a 100% share in Hyderabad-based Medcis PathLabs. In April 2022, the business paid Rs 100 crore for an 84% share in Medcis Pathlabs in an all-cash deal.

It has now purchased the remaining 16% ownership in the firm.

The merged company would have a centralised back-end operation of its labs in Pune, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Nagpur.

‘This is another attempt to become the largest integrated diagnostics services brand within the Manipal Group,’ stated Sandeep Sharma, CEO of Manipal HealthMap.

Medcis Pathlabs presently operates 23 facilities around the nation.
