• Nifty50 is at 17,679.45 up 53.75 points or 0.3%. Nifty Bank is at 36,680.90, up 0.71%. Mid-cap Index is up 0.30%.
• NTPC, ONGC, State Bank of India, Power Grid, and Axis Bank are the top gainers. Tata Consumer, Tata Motors, Ultratech Cement, Coal India, and Infosys are the top losers.
• Nifty Oil & Gas, Banking & Financial Services stocks remain bullish despite trimming gains. Nifty Pharma, IT and Metal stocks remain under pressure. 
• Out of 50 stocks traded on the NSE, 28 advanced and 22 declined.
