Markets end the day in Green

Indian equity markets ended the day in Green, today. Nifty 50 ended, up by 28.65 points. Sensex ended, up by 20.96 points. Top Gainers today were HDFC Life, Tata Motors and Hero Motors. Top Losers today were ICICI Bank, Nestle India, Kotak Bank. The day saw some selling pressure due to profit booking. 

All the broader indices ended in Green today. Mid-cap and Small-cap stocks saw some buying demand. Banking stocks, financial services stocks, and FMCG stocks saw some selling pressure, on the back of weekend profit booking. Media stocks saw some strong buying demand today. PNB, Suzlon and IRFC saw highest trading volume at NSE. In value terms, the stocks that saw highest trading today were PNB, BHEL and Adani Enterprises. 75 stocks touched their 52-week high today. 32 stocks touched their 52 week low.
