On the global front, US markets ended on a dim note. Dow Jones closed 196 points lower. Nasdaq ended with a decline of 11 points. S&P 500 closed 19 points down.
Asian peers fell as global growth concerns increase, dragging down the overall market sentiment. Chinese Shanghai Composite is trading 0.34% lower. Japan’s Nikkei 225 is 0.56% higher. Hong Kong’s Heng Seng is trading 0.81% lower. Taiwan index is marginally down. South Korean Kospi index is trading 0.64% lower.
Nifty Midcap 50 closed 0.12% higher. Nifty Bank ended 0.11% lower.
