Indian equity markets ended the day in Green. Last half hour saw some sharp selling too. Nifty 50 ended, up by 23.05 points. Sensex ended, up by 91.62 points. Top Gainers today were Apollo Hospitals, HDFC Life and JSW Steel. Top Losers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Hero Motors.
All the broad market indices ended the day in Green. Small and microcap stocks saw some good buying demand. Some selling was seen in IT stocks and metal stocks. Banking stocks again saw good buying demand today. In volume terms PNB, Suzlon, and IRFC were the most active equities, at NSE. In value terms Mazagon Dock, PNB, and Adani Enterprises saw the highest trading today. 60 stocks touched their 52-week high today, at NSE. 59 stocks touched their 52-week low.
