Nazara Technologies' board fixes record date for 1:1 bonus issue; stock plummets ~3%

Nazara Technologies Limited has informed that the Board of Directors of the company has fixed Monday, June 27, 2022, as the record date to ascertain the eligibility of shareholders for issuance of Bonus Equity Shares.

Earlier, the company has decided to issue bonus equity shares in the ratio of 1 fully paid-up equity share of Rs4 each for 1 fully paid-up equity share of Rs4 each held.

However, the bonus issue is yet subject to the approval of shareholders which is being obtained by way of Postal Ballot through remote e-voting.

Nazara Tech’s counter was trading at Rs1,128.75, down by 2.85% against its previous close of Rs1,161.85 on NSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs1,152 and Rs1,118 respectively so far.
