Nerolac Paints appoints Anuj Jain as Managing Director

In its regulatory filing, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited stated that the company has approved the appointment of Anuj Jain as the Managing Director for a term of five years effective from April 1, 2022.

Anuj Jain, aged 53 years, is a B.Sc. and Master of Management Studies, University of Bombay (Mumbai). Mr. Jain had joined Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited (“the Company”) on 4th June 1990 and was Director — Decorative and Industrial Sales & Marketing, prior to his appointment on the Board of Directors as a Whole-time Director from 1st April 2018.

He initially joined Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd in 1990 as a management trainee. In his tenure of 30 years, he has worked in various capacities across various function and brings extreme value to the company.

Anuj will be succeeding the office of Mr. H. M. Bharuka who joined the company in 1985 and stepped up as Managing Director in 2001, staying in office of the Managing Director for 21 years.

Kansai Nerolac Pians is currently trading at Rs492.70 down by Rs1.35 or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs494.05 on the BSE. It touched an intraday high and low of Rs497 and Rs481.30 respectively.
