Graviton Research Capital LLP purchased 19,40,453 shares of Olectra Greentech at an average cost of 1,334.40, according to NSE data. 2,95,464 shares of Kshitij Polyline were sold by Multiplier Share and Stock Advisors Private Limited at an average price of 5.80.
A bulk deal is a transaction in which at least 5% of the total equity shares of a corporation are exchanged all at once. Unlike block trades, these transactions are permissible at any time during the regular trading period. Bulk transactions don’t need a unique window to be opened. In the block deal window, nevertheless, it is feasible.
Block deals, on the other hand, are single trades with a minimum of 5 lakh shares or a value of Rs 10 crore. A block deal happens when two parties concur to buy and sell at least these many shares at the same price.
