Ola Electric, an electric vehicle company, expanded its direct-to-customer (D2C) footprint in the city on Wednesday with the opening of a new outlet.
With the addition of the new Gandhipuram centre, the company now has two experience centres in the city, in addition to the one on Avinashi Road that opened last year.
The company plans to expand its network to 500 outlets by March 2023, with 200 such experience centres already operational across all major cities in India, stated the company in a media release.
Ola experience centres, which aim to provide all services under one roof, allow EV enthusiasts to test Ola’s EV technology and gather vehicle information.
Customers can also take test rides in the S1 and S1 Pro, seek purchase assistance from Ola’s Brand Champions, learn about financing options, and complete their purchase journey on the Ola app. These experience centres also serve as one-stop shops for all post-purchase care and maintenance for Ola scooters.
According to the release, Ola’s goal of making all two-wheelers in India electric by 2025 is getting closer to reality as the company works to build a robust roadmap of electric vehicles.
