Orient Paper appoints Ashwin Laddha as new CEO

Orient Paper & Industries Ltd on Friday appointed Mr. Ashwin Ladhha as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) w.e.f from January 14, 2022.

Further, the company has also decided to appoint him as the Managing Director of the company w.e.f. 1 April 2022, in place of M. L. Pachisia whose tenure of appointment as Managing Director of the Company shall be expiring on 31st March 2022.

Mr. Ashwin Laddha, 46 years, is an MBA and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce.Ashwin has a diverse background and extensive international experience across all facets of business & marketing operations, sales management, finance, and product management, with strengths in real-time business decision making and identifying ROI drivers. He’s a professional with dynamic business strategy having ample exposure of sales & marketing.

Ashwin Laddha was Joint President & Regional Sales Marketing Head (Pulp & Fibre Business) of Grasim Industries Limited before joining Orient papers. He has an exquisite experience of over 2 decades across Pulp & Fibre and Telecom business.

Orient Paper ended at Rs33 up by Rs0.2 or 0.61% from its previous closing of Rs32.80 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs33.25 and touched a intraday high and low of Rs33.40 and Rs32.55 respectively.
