Paytm’s parent firm, One 97 Communications, has announced a collaboration with travel tech player Amadeus to provide consumers with a ‘efficient booking experience.’ With this agreement, the firm will integrate Amadeus’ travel platform to provide consumers with ticket booking and payment choices.
Paytm will use Amadeus to deliver hyper-personalized recommendations and dynamic pricing to its users. Paytm customers will receive access to a huge inventory of global travel choices via Amadeus APIs, making it easier for users to locate the best discounts and book tickets, all within the Paytm app, according to the business in a statement.
This single API will provide users with seamless access to diverse travel content, including GDS, low-cost carriers, hotels, and more, the company stated.
The relationship also allows Paytm to offer a single PNR solution in collaboration with Indian national carriers.
According to Vikash Jalan, chief business officer of Paytm Travel, the collaboration would streamline travel procedures for users by using technology and increasing efficiency.
Paytm also stated that it will provide consumers with a variety of payment alternatives, including universal payments interface (UPI), Paytm Wallet, and Postpaid.
At around 10.07 AM, Paytm was trading 0.45% lower at Rs 914.95, against the previous close of Rs 919.10 on NSE.
