Paytm’s Compliance Officer Amit Khera steps down

One 97 Communications Limited informed that Amit Khera has tendered his resignation from the position of Company Secretary & Compliance Officer (appointed in accordance with Section 203 of the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable Securities and Exchange Board of India regulations) of the Company.

The company said that in the interim period, it has appointed Sonali Singh as the Interim Compliance Officer of the Company for monitoring and ensuring compliance with securities laws, redress Investor grievances, and any other related activities.

Amit’s resignation will be effective from March 14, 2023.

Sonali has over 13 years of experience as a Company Secretary and a Law Graduate. She previously worked for SBI before joining Paytm. Prior to joining SBI, she worked for InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) for nearly 8 years.

Following this development, Paytm’s counter was trading 2.01% higher at Rs616.65, against the previous close of Rs604.40 on NSE. The counter opened at Rs606.45 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs619.25 and Rs605.40 respectively.
