Power Grid Corp declared successful bidder under TBCB

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding to establish Inter-State transmission system for “Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from Neemuch SEZ” on build, own operate and transfer (BOOT) basis.

The Letter of Intent (LoI) dated July 07, 2022 has been issued to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.

Further, the project comprises establishment of two 400kV DIC Transmission lines passing through the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, a New 400/220kV Pooling Substation at Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh) and 400kV bay extension works, the company said.

At around 3:15 PM, Power Grid Corporation of India was trading at Rs217 per share down by Rs1.8 or 0.82% from its previous closing of Rs218.80 per share on the BSE.
