Among the constituents, Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd slipped 2.64%, Persistent Systems Ltd dropped 2.01% and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd fell 1.79%. The Nifty IT index is down 19.00% over last one year compared to the 2.22% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSU Bank index added 1.41% and Nifty Energy index has dropped 1.31% on the day.
