Rainmatter and Supermorpheus provide seed funding to MyLang

MyLang Creators, a digital publishing start-up based in Bengaluru,  has raised an undisclosed sum in a seed round of funding, which was led by Rainmatter and included Supermorpheus and other investors.

The Indian regional language material is the exclusive focus of the digital publishing start-up’s efforts to develop a tech-enabled publishing platform.

The firm, which began in Kannada, intends to increase regional awareness by bringing the same experience to other Indian languages with a fresh infusion of funding.

MyLang, founded by Pavaman Athani and Vasantkumar Shetty, provides users with Indian language content, with a focus on short-form audio formats. With a pay-per-content and free-tier pricing structure, the platform offers users a complete native language experience for finding and consuming material produced by publishers, authors, and independent artists. The startup is also prepared to roll out bundled subscriptions.
