Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Macrotech Developers Ltd (down 3.31%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 2.18%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 2%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 1.79%),Brigade Enterprises Ltd (down 1.64%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.99%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 0.43%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.43%), and Sobha Ltd (down 0.26%).
On the other hand, DLF Ltd (up 0.23%), turned up.

The Nifty 50 index was up 150.5 points or 0.88% at 17268.1.
