Reliance Jio launches 5G in 27 more cities

Reliance Jio has launched its 5G service in 27 more cities. 

Effective immediately, residents and enterprises residing in these urban centres will be granted access to cutting-edge technological perks such as high-speed internet, low latency, and standalone True 5G services.

Jio’s True 5G technology delivers lightning-fast speeds of up to 1 Gbps, allowing for the uninterrupted streaming of high-quality media, immersive and interactive viewing experiences, as well as cloud gaming.

Regarding the unveiling of this service, a spokesperson from Jio expressed, ‘We are elated to declare the release of Jio’s True 5G services in 27 more cities situated in 13 states, coinciding with the joyous festival of Holi. This expansion has broadened the scope and advantages of Jio’s True 5G services to a total of 331 cities throughout India.’

Additionally, this technology holds the potential to elevate the functionalities of upcoming technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR), which in turn opens the door to pioneering applications in crucial areas that contribute to national development, such as healthcare, education, and agriculture, said the company on Wednesday.
