Rodolfo Hrosz steps up as new Managing Director of Sanofi India; stock slips ~1%

Sanofi India Limited has approved the appointment of Mr. Rodolfo Hrosz as the Additional Director of the Company with effect from June 1, 2022, and as the Managing Director for a period of three years with effect from June 1, 2022, subject to the approval of the shareholders and other regulatory approvals, as may be required.

Earlier, Rodolfo was working in the capacity of General Manager, Consumer Healthcare business in Brazil. Rodolpho joined Sanofi as General Manager of the Consumer Healthcare business in Brazil in 2017 and has successfully driven the organization through several transformative stages, right from the business unit’s early operations to it becoming a top growth contributor in the company and a digital-acceleration reference point within the Sanofi Group.

Rodolfo has a rich & diversified experience in commercial, marketing, and general management roles across several multinational companies. Before joining Sanofi, he has been associated with top players like Pfizer, LVMH, Heineken, and Procter & Gamble in the USA and Brazil.

Sanofi India is currently trading at Rs7,017.65 down by Rs87.25 or 1.23% from its previous closing of Rs7,104.90 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs7,124 and has touched intraday high and low of Rs7,235.75 and Rs7,005 respectively so far.
