Sensex and Nifty in green

At 2:11 PM today, the Indian benchmark indices are showing positive movement. The Sensex has risen by 212 points, or 0.26%, reaching a level of 81,396. Similarly, the Nifty has increased by 34.40 points, or 0.14%, to close at 24,886. The Nifty index saw 781 stocks advancing, while 1,686 stocks declined.

On the Sensex, key gainers include HUL, ITC, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and IndusInd Bank. In contrast, the top decliners are NTPC, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, and Power Grid Corporation. Notably, HUL is the only stock on the Sensex reaching a 52-week high.

For the Nifty, prominent gainers are HUL, ITC, Shriram Finance, ICICI Bank, and Tata Consumer Products. Meanwhile, ONGC, Hindalco, NTPC, Tata Motors, and Tech Mahindra are among the major decliners. HUL, Shriram Finance, and Divis Laboratories have hit 52-week highs on the Nifty.

In broader market movements, the BSE Midcap Index is experiencing a decline of 0.69%, and the BSE Smallcap Index is down by 0.95%.
