Seven of India Inc's Top 10 boost Rs 1.50 lakh cr to market value, with TCS and Infy leading the way

Amidst an overall upward trend in stocks, the combined market valuation of seven of the top ten valued corporations increased by Rs 1,50,679.28 crore last week. The largest gainers were IT majors Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys.

The BSE benchmark increased by 1.37 percent, or 890.05 points, last week.

ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, and Bajaj Finance saw a decline in their market valuation, while Reliance Industries, TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, and Bharti Airtel saw gains.

TCS was the largest gainer among the top 10 pack, with its valuation rising from Rs 62,148.99 crore to Rs 12,81,637.63 crore.

Infosys’ market capitalization (mcap) increased to Rs 5,96,681.75 crore from Rs 28,616.98 crore. Reliance Industries’ market capitalization increased by Rs 28,111.41 crore to Rs 15,93,893.03 crore, while HDFC Bank’s market capitalization increased by Rs 11,136.61 crore to Rs 11,42,215.81 crore.

Hindustan Unilever’s market value increased by Rs 10,032.75 crore to Rs 5,94,317.36 crore, while Bharti Airtel’s increased by Rs 6,828.74 crore to Rs 5,32,585.63 crore. With ITC’s addition of Rs 3,803.8 crore, its valuation increased to Rs 5,47,808.43 crore.

ICICI Bank’s market capitalization decreased by Rs 11,308.97 crore to Rs 6,46,254.41 crore, while State Bank of India’s declined by Rs 14,502.5 crore to Rs 5,02,589.52 crore. Bajaj Finance’s market value dropped to Rs 4,46,169.40 crore from Rs 4,973.68 crore.

Following Reliance Industries, TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, and Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries continued to be the most valuable firm.
