Simplilearn raises $45 million in funding

16 Nov 2022 , 01:45 PM

A group led by multi-stage venture capital company GSV Ventures has committed $45 million to Simplilearn, an online platform for skilling and training. The fundraising round also included Clal Insurance and the entrepreneurial platform DisruptAD.
At a time when the education technology (edtech) market and the technology investment ecosystem are both experiencing turmoils, Simplilearn is receiving money. Over 100,000 enterprise students and over 120,000 paid B2C students have joined the company in the past year. In addition, Simplilearn’s platform welcomes more than 2 million free learners each year.
