TCPL Packaging boosts capacity by installing second line at its Silvassa Unit; stock jumps ~1%

TCPL Packaging informed the investors and exchanges through its regulatory filing, that the company has made capacity addition, by installing the second line at its Flexible Packaging unit situated at Silvassa consisting of Rotogravure Printing Press and other ancillary equipment.

The company also informed that TCPL Innofilms Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has started trial production of its Polyethylene (PE) blown film line at Silvassa.

TCPL Packaging is one of the largest manufacturers of folding cartons in India, and a standalone converter of paperboard. TCPL provides innovative packaging solutions for the fast-moving consumer goods industry. It is a company with over $100 million turnover.

TCPL Packaging is currently trading at Rs699.55 up by Rs6.15 or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs693.40 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs696.05 and has touched day’s high and low of Rs699.55 and Rs693.65 respectively so far.
