TCS and HCL Tech Trade Ex-Dividend as IT Giants Declare Third Interim Payouts

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and HCL Technologies trade ex-dividend today.

TCS declares an interim dividend of Rs 9 per share and a special dividend of Rs 18 per share for FY 2023-24. HCL Tech announces an interim dividend of Rs 12 per share. Both companies declare their third interim dividend for FY 2023-24.

TCS informs about a third interim dividend of Rs 9 and a special dividend of Rs 18 per Equity Share. Dividends will be paid on February 5, 2024, to equity shareholders as of January 19, 2024 (Record Date).

Previous ex-dividend dates for TCS were October 19, 2023, and July 20, 2023, both for Rs 9 per share. HCL Tech notifies about an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share for FY 2023-24. The record date for dividend payment is January 20, 2024, and the payment date is January 31, 2024.

HCL Tech declares dividends for the third time in FY 2023-24; earlier ex-dividend dates were October 20, 2023, and July 20, 2023, for Rs 12 and Rs 10 per share, respectively.
