Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced securing an order from Kingfisher Plc, a European multinational home improvement company. TCS utilized its AI-powered unified commerce platform, TCS OmniStore, to enhance customer experiences for Kingfisher.
Kingfisher Plc operates over 1,900 stores across eight European countries under various retail banners like B&Q, Castorama, and others. Kingfisher chose TCS to transform its operations and adapt to market trends, aiming for a unified brand experience.
TCS OmniStore enabled modern commerce experiences, including features like click-and-collect, mobile apps, and dynamic promotions. It also supported advanced payment options like contactless payment and Apple Pay.
Kingfisher implemented TCS OmniStore in B&Q (UK and Ireland) and Castorama (France) stores, planning to extend to another banner later this year.
The move aimed to provide a seamless checkout experience for customers and improve efficiency in the stores. TCS expressed excitement about being Kingfisher’s strategic partner in their transformation journey, enhancing their competitive edge and growth.
