  1. Vedanta: Following Taiwan’s Foxconn’s withdrawal from a $19.5 billion semiconductor joint venture with Vedanta, Agarwal’s conglomerate has responded by affirming its full commitment to the semiconductor fab project. The group has stated that it has already lined up alternative partners to establish India’s first foundry.
  2. SBI Cards: Rama Mohan Rao Amara has announced his resignation as the Managing Director & CEO of the credit card issuing company, effective from August 11. This decision is due to his transfer back to the State Bank of India. In light of this, the company has appointed Abhijit Chakravorty as the new Managing Director & CEO, effective from August 12.
  3. Tega Industries: Effective July 10, the mining and material handling equipment maker has appointed Sharad Kumar Khaitan as its Chief Financial Officer.
  4. Tata Communications: Tata Communications International Pte Ltd (TCIPL) has recently entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire the remaining equity ownership of Oasis Smart Sim Europe SAS (OSSE France).
  5. Nazara Technologies: The board of the company has given approval to raise funds through one or more qualified institutional placements or preferential allotment for up to Rs 750 crore.
  6. Motherson Sumi Wiring India: The board has appointed Mahendra Chhabra as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.
  7. Mazagon Dock: According to sources, CNBC-TV18 reports that the Defence Procurement Board has granted preliminary approval for the proposal to procure three Scorpene submarines. These submarines will be constructed at Mazagon Docks Ltd., which has previously built submarines of the same class.
  8. APL Apollo Tubes: The company’s subsidiary, APL Apollo Building Products has received incentives of Rs 500 crore from State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) of the Chhattisgarh for setting up manufacturing facility at Baloda Bazar, Chhattisgarh.
  9. Dr Reddy’s: The shares of the company to trade on ex-dividend price today.
  10. Vadilal Industries: Vadilal Industry has addressed the reports regarding Bain Capital’s potential stake acquisition in the company and clarified that there is no validity to such information.
