Here are some stocks that may show significant price movement today.

  1. JSW Steel: The company has been declared preferred bidder by Directorate of Mines and Geology, Goa, for grant of mining lease for iron ore mineral in the state of Goa.
  2. Inox Wind Energy: The company plans to merge with its parent company, Inox Wind, through a share swap arrangement. As part of this arrangement, for every 10 shares of Inox Wind Energy, which were originally issued at a price of Rs 847 each, shareholders will receive 158 shares of Inox Wind at an issue price of Rs 54 per share.
  3. Adani Ports: The company has suspended vessel operations at Mundra and Tuna port due to cyclone storm “Biparjoy”.
  4. SJVN: The wholly owned subsidiary of the company, SJVN Green Energy Limited has won a 200 MW Wind Power Project at a tariff of Rs 3.24 per unit on a Build Own and Operate basis from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
  5. Punjab & Sind Bank: The board members have approved Rs 750 crore fundraise through the issuance of Basel-III compliant Additional Tier-I Bonds or Tier-II Bonds.
  6. Engineers India: ONGC has given order to the company worth Rs 472 crore with a project completion schedule of about 40 months.
  7. Go Fashion: On Monday, Sequoia Capital divested its entire 10.18% stake in Go Fashion (India) through bulk deals. However, several other investors participated in the market activity, acquiring shares through open market transactions. These investors include two domestic institutional investors, namely BNP Paribas Arbitrage and ICICI Pru Life Insurer, as well as two foreign investors, Societe Generale and Kuwait Investment Authority fund.
  8. Zee Entertainment: Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra Goenka and Zee Entertainment head Punit Goenka have been restricted by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) from holding any key managerial positions for a period of one year.
  9. HFCL: The company has received order from Delhi metro of worth Rs 80.92 crore to design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fibre optics transmission system.
  10. Caplin Point: Caplin Steriles has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Cisatracurium Besylate Injection.
