  1. BPCL:

As part of measures to diversify its sourcing requirements, the state-owned oil marketing corporation claimed it had struck an agreement with Brazil’s Petrobras for the purchase of crude oil from the Latin American country.

  1. Britannia Industries:

Varun Berry has been promoted to Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the FMCG business, while Rajneet Kohli has been named Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer, both positions effective immediately.

  1. Harsha Engineers International:

The largest producer of precision bearing cages is set to launch on the stock markets on Monday after raising Rs755 crore through its IPO.

  1. Coal India:

In order to establish four surface gasification projects, the state-owned coal miner will sign agreements with three public sector companies, including Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), and GAIL (India).

  1. Embassy REIT :  Blackstone will sell up t o $400 million of its stake in Embassy through bulk deals.
  1. Sterlite Technologies:

Mihir Modi has submitted his resignation from his position as the IT company’s CFO and other important administrative positions. With effect from October 15, he will be released from his obligations.

  1. PI Industries:

Through open market transactions, the promoter of the agrochemicals company sold 10 lakh shares for Rs315 crore.

  1. Infibeam Avenues:

The company that provides payment infrastructure and fintech has integrated its international operations in order to aggressively enter and grow the market for digital payment gateway infrastructure globally.

  1. Suzlon Energy:

The board of the state-run power company approved funding of Rs1,200 crore through a rights offer of 240 crore shares, the company said.

  1. Unichem Laboratories:

The pharmaceutical business has finished selling Sekhmet Pharmaventures its 19.97% equity stake in Optimus Drugs.
