Vedanta: The mining company said its board of directors will meet on October 8 to consider declaring the fourth interim dividend on equity shares for fiscal year 2024-25. Additionally, the record date for calculating equity owners’ entitlement to the dividend, if granted, has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Uno Minda: The auto component manufacturer said that its subsidiary Minda Onkyo India Private Ltd has signed a technical license agreement (TLA) with Hyundai Mobis Co Ltd of Korea. The arrangement allows Minda Onkyo to produce licensed items, primarily speakers, for Hyundai Mobis.
Reliance Power: The company stated that its subsidiary, Rosa Power, has prepaid ₹850 Crore of its debt to Singapore-based lender Varde Partners. Following Reliance Power’s debt-free status, Rosa Power is on course to do the same. The company intends to settle its remaining debts in the coming quarter, finishing the process by the conclusion of the current fiscal year.
Zen Technologies: The defence training solutions provider announced that, in collaboration with its subsidiary AI Turing Technologies, it has unveiled four new remote-controlled weapon and surveillance systems targeted at revolutionising defence capabilities.
Cipla: The drug company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Cipla (EU) Ltd has signed a definitive deal to buy Jiangsu Xidi Pharmaceuticals Co Ltd’s remaining 6.9124% equity holding in China-based Cipla (Jiangsu) Pharmaceuticals Co Ltd.
Coromandel International: The agricultural solutions provider announced the acquisition of an additional equity investment in Senegal’s Baobab Mining and Chemicals Corporation (BMCC) through its wholly-owned subsidiary Coromandel Chemicals Ltd. Coromandel’s additional 8.82% equity position in BMCC brings its total shareholding to 53.8%.
HDFC Bank: On September 25, UBS Group acquired HDFC Bank shares for around ₹543 Crore in an open market transaction.
ASK Automotive: ASK Automotive Ltd said on Wednesday (September 25) that Kuldip Singh Rathee, one of the company’s proprietors, intends to sell a 6.05% equity position through an offer for sale (OFS) on September 27-28, 2024.
SpiceJet: According to an exchange filing on Wednesday, Ireland-based aircraft lessor Carlyle Aviation Management sold its 1.42% ownership in SpiceJet through open market transactions.
Infosys: On Wednesday (September 25), Indian IT services giant Infosys Ltd announced a strategic partnership with Swedish electric car maker Polestar to develop a new technological hub in Bengaluru.
