  1. ICICI Prudential: On Monday, the company revealed that it has received a show cause cum demand notice from the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) amounting to Rs 492.06 crore for the period spanning July 2017 to July 2022. It will contest the matter by following appropriate procedure.
  2. Aditya Birla Capital: The Aditya Birla Group company has initiated its qualified institutional placement (QIP) issue with a floor price of Rs 175.99 per share. According to sources, the fundraising is expected to amount to Rs 1,750 crore.
  3. Airtel: The telecommunications major has recently announced leadership changes within its Airtel Business division. Ajay Chitkara, who served as CEO, has tendered his resignation and will remain with the company until the third week of August.
  4. Godrej Properties: On Monday, the real estate company announced that its board of directors has authorized the issuance of unsecured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) amounting to Rs 750 crore.
  5. Tech Mahindra: The step-down subsidiary of the company, LCC France SARL, has given its approval to divest its 49% stake in SARL Djazatech, as well as its wholly owned subsidiary, EURL LCCUK Algerie. The transaction for the sale of the stake is anticipated to be finalized by July 10, 2023.
  6. SBI Life: Swaminathan Janakiraman, who was serving as a director of the life insurance company, has tendered his resignation effective from June 26.
  7. Sun Pharma: On Monday, the company made an announcement that its subsidiary, Sun Pharma Canada Inc., has obtained approval from Health Canada for ABSORICA LD (isotretinoin capsules). ABSORICA LD is specifically indicated for the treatment of severe acne in patients aged 12 years and above.
  8. JSW Steel: Following the approval of the scheme of amalgamation by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), JSW Vallabh Tinplate, Vardhman Industries, and JSW Steel Coated Products have submitted the order to the Registrar of Companies. The scheme has officially become effective as of June 26.
  9. IndiGo: On Monday, India’s largest airline, both in terms of market share and fleet size, made an announcement regarding its newest international destination. Starting from August 5, the airline will commence operations to Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
  10. BLS International Services: The outsourcing service provider announced that the board members of its subsidiary, BLS E-Services, have given their approval for a fundraising effort through an initial public offering (IPO). The specific size of the offering, as well as the price and other relevant details, will be determined and announced at a later time.
