Tata Steel: The Uttar Pradesh State Pollution Control Board has levied a Rs 6.75 lakh environmental damage settlement on the company’s Sahibabad factory. The corporation paid the environmental damage compensation without prejudice.
Tata Coffee: The joint venture agreement between Tata Consumer Products (TCPL), Tata Coffee (TCL), and TCPL Beverages & Foods (TBFL) will take effect on January 1, 2024. With the scheme taking effect on January 1, 2024, Tata Coffee will be dissolved without winding up, and the positions of all directors and senior management people will be vacated on that date without further action.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail: Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail has received 1,93,964 equity shares from Finesse International Design (FIDPL) for an aggregate amount of Rs 20 crore. As a result, the company’s stake in FIDPL has grown from 58.69 percent to 63.50 percent of FIDPL’s equity share capital.
IDFC First Bank: The Reserve Bank of India has approved ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company to buy up to 9.95% of IDFC FIRST Bank’s paid-up share capital or voting rights.
Azad Engineering: Sovereign wealth fund Abu Dhabi Investment Authority purchased 3.98 lakh equity shares, or 0.67% of paid-up equity, in the high-precision forged and machined components manufacturer for Rs 28.65 crore at an average price of Rs 719.9 per share.
Punjab National Bank: The public sector lender said that the Board of Directors has approved a plan to raise equity capital in one or more tranches of up to Rs 7,500 crore during FY25 through qualified institutions placement (QIP)/follow on public offer (FPO).
Indiabulls Housing Finance: Mathew Cyriac, a high-net-worth individual, purchased an additional 25 lakh equity shares, or 0.52% of the home financing company, through open market transactions at an average price of Rs 213.53 per share, on top of the 24.99 lakh shares purchased on Tuesday. SBI Mutual Fund A/C SBI Arbitrage Opportunity Fund, on the other hand, offloaded 30,90,600 equity shares in Indiabulls Housing at an average price of Rs 218.16 per share, while ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund A/C Equity – Arbitrage Fund sold 25,34,700 shares at an average price of Rs 218.74 per share.
Federal Bank: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (ICICI AMC) acquiring up to 9.95% of Federal Bank’s paid-up share capital or voting rights.
Asian Paints: The company’s Sriperumbudur factory has gained environmental approval from the Tamil Nadu State Environment Impact Assessment Authority. The Sriperumbudur factory is up and running with all of the necessary licences and permits. The licence paperwork giving environmental clearance is still pending.
RailTel Corporation of India: South Central Railway has awarded the business a work order of Rs 120.45 crore for comprehensive signalling and telecommunication works for the construction of an autonomous block signalling system in the Yermaras-Nalwar portion of the Guntakal division.
